I wish there was place for optimistic who fans to post I love fallowing the show on facebook and hearing wants coming next but it’s always a pain to see all the people who haven’t liked she show since 2007 complain that is not what it was and it’s not getting better i’ll admit that last season wasn’t my favourite but i’d hardly call it the worst thing in the history of tv I wasn’t even the worst thing in the history of doctor who maybe i’m a mindless sheep just happy as can be to watch and enjoy all things who related but i’m also happy to see a women playing the doctor and I don’t think that the christmas special being pushed six measly days to new years is such a crime for 26 seasons there was no christmas special except for the feast of steven all the way back in the third season from 1990 2004 there was no christmas special from 1990 95 there was no show then in 96 there was a movie then 97 2004 nothing again then we got 13 years of specials that aired on christmas then one aired on new years in 2018 and the world kept turning now I an other new years episode is on the horizon but i’d hardly start pointing fingers at the bbc and saying they killed a respected doctor who tradition by airing on new years instead of christmas the show is 56 years old and in those 56 years more years have passed without a christmas episode than years with we all have the right to our own opinion and we have the right to voice that opinion we can like a show then stop liking a show I for one lived power rangers when I was a kid as an adult I don’t really like the current series and because that I don’t follow the new series online and I don’t comment on their pots telling them that they haven’t been good since 94 if you stopped loving doctor who when david left or matt or peter that’s fine if you think the doctor should be a man and refuse to watch jodie because she is a women that’s fine twice upon a time kind of book ends the doctor’s journey in a way his first regeneration meeting his last let that be the end for you and walk away I am still a doctor who fan jodie is the 13th doctor I don’t want the bbc to bring back david or force jodie to regenerate back to a man just to keep the people afraid of change still interested this show is all about change from the companions the tardis interior the writers the show runners and obviously the doctor change is what doctor who at its core is about change and moving forward you can’t hate change and truly love a show like this yes I was annoyed with some of the stories in season 11 cause heavy handed messages of racism and sexism is bad just felt redundant for a modern who audience but then I read the commends on the doctor who page and I guess they weren’t as redundant as I thought maybe no one at the bbc or doctor who will read this maybe this ends up just a long lost post in the either of facebook or hopefully the writers and current cast can read this and smile knowing that there are a large number of who fans out there who are excited and encouraging them to keep this show going i’ll be tuning in on new years and it looks like it’s gonna be fantastic I only hope jodie stays on for at least another series i’d hate for her doctor to only get two seasons
